Black and White – Open Theme

This picture is awsome because you can see some of the Chicago city line and able to see what happens on the Chicago River with all of the boats going in and out.

critique 2

I like this photo because of the sport that they are doing(fishing). Another reason why I like this photo is because of the reason of the silhouette. A reason I don't why I don't like this photo is because it is to plane not enough. There should add a fish or to to give it more life. I think that they should five it more background instead of the sky and a couple mountains.

critique 1

I think that this is a good but bad photo because it is plain and not much going on except for the water receding. The rainbow is awfully dull, the photographer should have went closer to the rainbow so you can see it more and get it so you can see every color and parts of the other rainbow. He should have cut out the rocks on the side because I don't care for them that much. He should try to fix the horizon line. the good thing about this picture is the definition of the water line.

Articles

the article i read was about fixing the shaky affect. i found this article the photography and imaging magazine on page 56.

the article is to help the shaky affect on that may appear in some of the photos. the first step is that you have to switch to a wider lens aperture, do so it will allow you to have a faster shutter speed. the second step is to use a faster film or a higher ISO setting to reach faster shutter speed. the third step is to mount the camera on a tripod stand to eliminte camera shake. the fourth step is to open up the draps to brighten up the room. the last stepis only used as a fall back plan and that is that you buy a new lens.
